ROGUE Millennium went close to giving us a coveted Group 2 victory when chasing home odds-on favourite Free Wind in the Middleton Stakes at York on Thursday.
The daughter of Dubawi, has been in terrific form this spring, finishing placed in two Stakes races prior to this effort.
She took her form to a new level on Thursday, going down by just a length to a 115-rated rival.
Tom said: “She was given a lovely ride by Jack (Mitchell), it was always the plan to track Frankie through on the favourite and I think we have been out-stayed in the end.
“She’s a high-class filly and so exciting for the Rogues. She deserves to win a Group race and we may look at going back to the Hoppings Stakes at Newcastle or the Irish Pretty Polly.”
