ROGUE Bear made it two wins from four starts with an easy success in a mile handicap at Nottingham yesterdsay afternoon
The son of Kodiac was always in a good position on the heels of the leaders under David Egan and quickened up well in the soft ground to win by two and a quarter lengths.
A winner on debut at Doncaster in the spring, he has been won or placed on all his starts to date and is an exciting horse looking ahead to next season.
Tom said: “We were looking forward to stepping him up in trip but were a little worried about doing so on such soft ground. That said, he has handled it and really hit the line strongly.
“David always had him well placed and it is great to see the horse do it well. He is a horse we have always held in some regard so to see him win like that is great.
“He sometimes isnt the most straigtforward at home so a big well done goes to pupil assistant Seb Burnett-Wells who rides him every day.
