Superstar filly Rogue Millennium wins the Oaks trial race at Lingfield, and will now be supplemented for the Group 1 Epsom Oaks on the 3rd June.
ROGUE Millennium gave us a day to remember when taking the Lingfield Oaks Trial at Saturday.
The daughter of Dubawi, only made her debut 13 days before at Wetherby but following a smooth win there, we decided to pitch her in to Listed level on Saturday.
She overcame a wide draw and a slow start under Jack Mitchell to power down the home straight, winninng by a neck.
It has left us all dreaming of a crack at the Oaks on June 2,
Tom said: “This was very special – she is a beautiful filly – a typical Dubawi who shows her best on the track.
“We said if she won today then we’d look at supplementing for the Oaks – we’ll see how she comes out of the race but she deserves a crack at it after winning a trial. She stays well and has a terrific attitude.
