I thought Crimewave ran a lovey race on Monday at Lingfield albeit a little behind the bridle, with all this dry weather it meant the track rode quite deep for him and the kickback was bad. He has been on the go for a year now and I feel that he deserves a bit of a break, particularly as they’re aren’t many options for him in the immediate future. It was a good race yesterday and going into the Autumn and Winter we can target some nice handicaps. He is such a lovely horse and I’m sure he’ll enjoy a holiday!
Rogue Assassin has been entered for the July Sale, he’s been rather frustrating and not been
giving his all. Hopefully we can give him one more run before the sale either on nice turf or if this isn’t an option back on the all-weather. As he didn’t travel all that well last time at Yarmouth, Blinkers will be added next time as this should help him travel a little better through his race.
Eaglesglen worked as well as ever on Friday in the lead up to his run tonight at
Chelmsford, Jack is back on board. He’s been frustrating as he shapes up well at home and hasn’t delivered on the track. We’re back to the all-weather tomorrow and dropping back to a mile, his best form has been on the all-weather (particularly at Chelmsford) and as there isn’t anything suitable over 10 furlongs and so a drop back to a mile is where we have to look. Unfortunately we’re drawn in 11 which isn’t ideal, hopefully we can overcome this and put up a good performance before the July sale.
Rogue Force, Looks terrific and well in himself. He was a little quiet after his run at Doncaster where he had quite a hard race. However, he is more expressive each day and looks to be coming back to himself. He has won over 7f, and I feel it’s probably a good plan to drop back to 7f where we will plan to ride him with a lead, this should enable him to finish his race off nicely. He is out of a Fastnet Rock mare and so being by Iffraaj you could make a strong case for him being better suited back in trip.
There is a possible option a week today at Newbury for us to consider if he is fully back to himself, Sugauli will also get an entry in this race and so perhaps we can enter both and see which one seems in the best form at declaration stage.

Cash Machine, did a really nice piece of work on the watered gallop last Friday under Jack, he sat second behind his lead horse over six furlongs and cruised by him nicely when asked with plenty more to give. He looks great and is ready to run. He holds an entry for Monday at
Wolverhampton over 7f in a Novice Stakes. He has run twice over six and the way he trains (and races) lead’s us to believe that he should be okay over an easy 7 on the all-weather.
Entry – Cash Machine Class 5 Novice Stakes 7f 3yo +

Rogue Bear is a little sore through his back still. We’re doing all we can to get him right,
but I just don’t want to rush him until he is feeling one hundred percent. He is too nice of a
horse to rush and I’m hopeful we will get him back into regular work soon. He looks great and is such an exciting prospect to look forward too.
Holy Kingdom’s rehab is going well, he’s been a model patient which is a huge
help to his overall recovery. Condition wise; he looks terrific and hasn’t put too much weight
on which is good for his leg. The leg itself is recovering well and I’m really happy with his overall progress.
El Picaro ran a super race at Wetherby coming second on very fast ground, the fast ground clearly didn’t suit him and he will be seen to best effect with a little more ease under foot or back on the all-weather. He is a very game horse who wears his heart on his sleeve and they’ve left him on his rating of 74.He has been running consistently well in median Auction races and I hope he can go one better next time as he clearly deserves it. Considering the ground was rattling, he is moving fine and has come out of his race well.
Rogue Missile is enjoying her rehab at my mum’s, she is letting down nicely and it’s been
very good for her to go out and get the sun on her back. She’s enjoying the paddock and mum is very fond of her, “she’s a lovely filly to look at every day Tom”! next time I’m there I will send over a video of her.
Sugauli is in good order and feeling well in himself. I felt he ran a really encouraging race over 6 at Yarmouth last time out. It was an inferior trip for him but he behaved well and settled nicely throughout his race. He looks now to be ready for a step up in trip and as I have previously said we are also considering Newbury as an option for his next run. He seems in good shape and I hope he will go close next time out.

Rogue Rocket worked nicely this morning under Jack; they galloped over 6f on the
Cambridge Road and Jack was pleased with him. We have been doing stalls work with him and he is nearing his racecourse debut. He looks fit, is moving well but needs to do one more bit of work before we think about running him. I’d imagine we will be starting over six furlongs and he remains an exciting prospect.
Rogue Bull is having a little time off and is going out into the pen daily, really enjoying
himself having a good scratch and a roll! Up until recently he had been in work, out on the
gallops and continuing his education. He is a big attractive horse who just needs a little
more time. All being well we will bring him back into training in a couple of months.
Rogue Mission is a very racy looking colt who is still just trotting due to him needing a little
more time after the breeze up sales. He is really athletic and shows great
enthusiasm to his work, therefore I am looking forward to watching him progress
as we step up his work. He will start cantering soon.
Rogue Star is a lovely colt who is developing well. I think he has grown and is filling out his
frame. He has a real presence about him. He is going to be a late
maturing type and therefore is just currently jogging. I hope to get him cantering in a couple of weeks. Although he isn’t sharp he looks strong already.
The Guvnor has come out of his race at Redcar well. He went up long hill today and cantered nicely. There is a possible spot for him at Yarmouth in early July over 1m6f. What’s really pleasing is he looks to be strengthening after each run, he looks stronger out and is putting on more muscle. I feel this horse will be seen to best effect over two miles when he is strong enough. All being well he’ll work at the end of the week, he is moving nicely and seems happy.
Rogue Power has done some nice work and has an entry in a Novice at Newmarket on Saturday over 1 mile. Being a son of Pivotal he will want rain but there is some forecast for Thursday. His stall’s work has been fine and he worked nicely this morning. All being well Saturday could be a good starting point for him. At the entry stage it is a competitive affair as you’d expect for a Newmarket Novice but he looks in good form and is nearing being ready to get started.
Rockett Man. Ran a really solid race at Windsor, he clearly likes better ground and I hope he is a horse who can progress through the summer. I hope he will naturally improve as he matures and strengthens. He is entered for Wolverhampton on Monday where I hope he could go close again. he looks to have come out of his race well and I’m looking forward to seeing him run next time.
Decorated Knight filly. This filly has settled in really well. She is an attractive sort who breezed a very good time at Gorsebridge breeze ups. She is cantering away and I will get a video of her over to you soon. The stallion is really exciting and she is a quality looking individual. I’m looking forward to seeing this filly progress through her training.
